Wolverhampton Wanderers looking to prevent two Arsenal club records

Wolverhampton Wanderers will be bidding to prevent Arsenal from setting two new club records in their Premier League fixture on Saturday night.

The Gunners are making the trip to Molineux on the back of defeats to Aston Villa and Bayern Munich in the top flight and Champions League respectively.

Although Mikel Arteta's side have failed to score in either contest, they will move back to the top of the Premier League table should they record three points at Molineux.

Should they achieve that goal in the West Midlands, Arsenal will have extended their winning streak over Wolves to six matches, with each of those games coming in the league.

In the two fixtures that have taken place at Molineux during that time, Wolves have failed to score in each contest, losing 1-0 and 2-0 respectively.

Should the North Londoners get on the scoresheet on Saturday night, it would set a new high for that particular feat in their history.

At the other end of the pitch, Arsenal have come through their last five away fixtures in the Premier League without conceding a single goal.

They last achieved such a run of shutouts between February and April 27 years ago, and reaching six matches would represent a new club record.

Nearly a decade has passed since any team in the Premier League has put together a run of six successive away clean sheets, with that
